Datadog Agent Supported Platforms
Kloudfuse requires Datadog Agent 7.41 or higher. The tables below show which operating systems and container platforms can Data Agent for metric collection. Anything that can run a Datadog Agent to collect metrics will be able to forward those metrics to Kloudfuse.
Overview
Datadog Agent 7 supports 64-bit x86 (AMD64) and 64-bit ARM v8 (ARM64) architectures on Linux, Windows, and macOS. IBM AIX on POWER (ppc64) is supported through the separate Datadog UNIX Agent.
Container deployments on Docker and Kubernetes are supported on both architectures. Agent 5 and Agent 6 are not supported for use with Kloudfuse.

| Apple Silicon Macs running x86 Agent builds via Rosetta 2 emulation are supported as a fallback for versions below 7.70.0. |
Unix (AIX)
IBM AIX is supported through the Datadog UNIX Agent — a separate agent build for the POWER (ppc64) architecture, distinct from the Linux, Windows, and macOS Agents.
| OS | Supported versions | Architecture |

POWER (ppc64) |
| The Datadog UNIX Agent is developed for specific system architectures and is not the same as the Linux, Windows, or macOS Agents. It uses a different installation method and release cadence — see the authoritative Datadog supported platforms documentation for AIX-specific installation details. |
