APM Traces formulas
Formulas in APM Traces allow you to create custom calculations and transformations of your trace data across multiple views. You can apply formulas in the spans list, timeline, and other analysis views to derive metrics, filter results, or display computed values based on your trace attributes. This feature enables you to tailor trace analysis to your specific troubleshooting and investigation needs.
You can use formulas in the Kloudfuse APM Traces interface, in the Times Series, Top List, Table, and Pie Chart views.
Add formula
You can combine metrics over facets or labels into formulas, to get additional insights.

To add a formula, click
(Add Formula). -
The empty formula option appears in interface as line
(1), under the query lines. -
Type the formula in the text box next to label
(1). -
The interface displays graphs for both queries and the new formula.
