Schedule Alert Suppression

A Suppression Schedule defines a recurring time window during which alert notifications are muted. Use it for planned maintenance windows, known outage periods, or any recurring event where you want to prevent alert noise.

Unlike a one-time Suppress Alert Notification, a suppression schedule applies repeatedly on the configured recurrence pattern.

Alert Suppress Schedule

Create a Suppression Schedule

  1. Click the Alerts tab, then select Suppress Schedule from the drop-down menu.

  2. Click Add Suppression Schedule.

  3. Enter a Name for the schedule.

  4. Configure the recurrence:

    • Day of week — Select the days when the schedule is active.

    • Time range — Set the start and end time for each occurrence.

    • Month — Optionally restrict the schedule to specific months.

  5. Click Save to activate the schedule.

Suppression schedules only silence notifications. Alert rules continue to evaluate during the scheduled window; no alerts are sent.

Assign a Suppression Schedule to a Contact Point

To apply a schedule, link it to a contact point when configuring alerts. See Contact Points for details.
